Events of interest that claimed attention were: Purchasing of tokens of indes- cribable beauty called ringsg Junior Pilgrims excelled in basketballg a Reception given to the departing Senior hlembersg winning of cups from other lands, the debating team winning one and Norma Nlay showing honorable talent by winning another. . While attaining many difficult pinnacles a report was given out that a familiar ship was nearing harbor, the excitement was keen and after the Chief Wise Nlen Hay and Ixeller tested our knowledge we were bidden to go. Time passed and while journeying through markets and villages were met by a dusty messenger who imparted to us that we were desired at the Temple High School, and thus with fifty-five pilgrims we journeyed toward our destination. Familiar halls and faces greeted us and shortly orderly arrangement followed with the Wise Ladies Ruth and Grace Hetrick and the VVise Man Keller to watch over us while from the group, Dick Bracken, Ed. Dt-Frehn, Catherine Helsel, Ruth Henninger and Harvey Haughton were selected also to guide us. Ere much time passed, due to more experience and learning, certain pilgrims were chosen to represent the various functions. Dick Bracken was to watch over the Council Green while Mary Brant was to collect minutes of these meetings. Everett Nfcvicker, was to punish those members who disobeyed regulations. Nlartha Klitchell and her assistants with the aid of Wise Xlen Snyder and Blough edited a desirable pamphlet The Courier. Helen VVagner's untiring efforts and the help of Wise Klan Keller and assistants were responsible for 2 Book of Events The Rellectorf, Honor was brought to the Temple Ferndale by a worthy Pilgrim Clarence Hurrel when he journeyed afar to strange lands by the sea and was selected to play his instrument of Nlusic. Pilgrim. Jack Burgan accorded honors by his mastery of the art Oratory while Nlelba Lohr and Vernon Blum aided greatly in the formation of Debating. A most desirable confection was sold by the pilgrims to other members while those choosing to eat of tho delicacies of the cafeteria appeased their appitites every noon. It was here that the YVise Ladies and VVise Men had jolly times together. A play of extreme interest and success was nobly coached by Wise Lady Grace Herrick and given honorably for two nights. Following Commencement Exercises a trip of immeasurable enjoyment, great comfort concluded the period of instruction. The knowledge of Scrolls and Experiences at Ferndale being completed, the Class of 1930, after wishing other members of the Temple to be able to find the rich treasure Education departed to the shores of Higher Learning and the World of llany Occupations. --H fe.
