It is a very active group having started the year off with an assembly to get the student body acquainted with the functions of the student council. They also held the Miss Pirate contest which was done by the popular vote of the student body. The idea of the council is to promote better government in the student body.

Activity Hoasfcrs gfllb The Activity Booster's Club, under the sponsorship of Mr. David L. Hypes, was organized at the beginning of the school term in the year 1940. This is the club which sponsors those wonderful school dances and The Pirates' Treasure Chest. This club is represented all around our school because it has bought uniforms and instruments for the Band, curtains for the gym, and many more valuable things.
