EVELYN CHAMPAGNE Since November of 1974, Mrs. Champagne has worked diligently at her job of bookkeeper at Father Lopez High School. Her tasks include the payroll, and all in-coming and out-going accounts. Keeping all of that straight is no easy task! Mrs. Champagne came to Florida with her husband Ollie twenty-nine years ago. She was born in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania and is quick to add it is also the birthplace of .loe Namath, As an after- thought. she admits to being born before Joe! Before coming to Father Lopez, Evelyn worked at St. Paul's where she first saw many of our seniors as first graders. ln a very real sense, she has followed and watched many young people pass through grammar school to college! Evelyn is very proud of her two sons, Mark and Matthew. Matthew is currently stationed at Pease Air Force Base in New Hampshire. When this book goes to press, Mark will also be a member of the United States Air Force. Many times, a dedication is given to a faculty member who is leaving a school. ln this case we at Father Lopez fondly wish many years ol' associ- ation with Mrs. Champagne as our friend and bookkeeper. She has stated many times that she loves to be here. May we assure you, Evelyn, that the love is not one sided. Thank you for caring. Veritas salutes you. VERITAS SALUTES ADMINISTR TIO FR.
