Deep in our hearts . . . FOR OUR ELECTION of class officers, Father Hemighaus em- ployed voting machines which were not only functional bul also educational. We are all in debt to invaluable aid such as this which helps us in be- coming better citizens. lT'S CHOW TIME and at least four of our teachers, the Messrs, Franceschini, Donnelly, Konen, and Glod seem to be very glad it has finally arrived. lt gives them an opportunity to relax and enioy u good meal . OH! THOSE HATEFUL P.T.A. MEETINGS. While J. Tiltermary, W. Thomas, E. Finl- kowski, and their parents listen closely, Father John Murphy tells why these three Crusaders didn'r make the Honor Roll. The P.T,A. Meetings are lust os pain- iul to the teachers as they are to the parents. A CHAT WITH THE MILITIA is always a good way to pass a few minutes be- tween classes. These guards seem to be enlivened by Father Murphy's subtle wit. din X V , . 4 wr -.J x ,. -41 5 f ,' sw. l , , - .5 ' F

-we ff THOUGH MOST OF US are more familiar with Father Brand in another capacity, Father would rather distribute Holy Commun- ion than iug slips. Between school and one of his weekly visits to one of the neighboring parishes, Father Brand as well as the other priest-teachers gets many chances to practice his sacred ministry. YOU'RE GOING TO JUG and that is that, says Father Trav- ers to this poor unfortunate who did something to merit iug. lt's pretty hard to get Father angry but this character seems to have done a good job of it. His buddies, however, seem very pleased. l l lggll i ,, . llllllll g B ...f pr ,l Q ' PROBLEMS! PROBLEMS! PROBlEMS! That's what Father Duttield seems to be saying to Brother Rosica as they discuss the progress of the building of the sets by the stage crew of our show No Time For Sergeants. These after-hours were especially dear to us. uplifting our spirit . . . 45
