Sierra Club Organized in 1971 by Lorin Gill, the Hawaii Sierra Club members wanted to establish a hiking and camping program for high school students on Oahu. The WRF group is affiliated with the Hawaii Sierra Club Chapter and is lead by the Hawaii Sierra Club members. Its goals are to increase students' awareness and knowledge of the great outdoors, and to de- velop positive habits and attitudes toward our natural environment. The club gave students the opportunity to enjoy hiking and camping. Their events were topped off by the annual neighbor island hiking! Camping trip and the bi- monthly hikes on Oahu. Meeting weekly, the of- ficers discussed the activities enjoyed by those who participated. K 5 4 7 ,.
