U ., REP was first organized by a group of boys who wanted to discover different vocations, but has since turned coed. The club worked towards developing the char- acter of their members and being of ser- vice to the school and community. Among the activities that REP partic- ipated in this year were the homecoming float-building contest, Christmas bell- ringing, an REP banquet, and REP club week.

-Z A -T ' 24 X X Kuang Hua Hui The organization Kuang Hua Hui consists of students whose goals were to broaden their ap- preciation and understanding of the Chinese cul- ture. Their involvement and participation in edu- cational and social activities developed their interest and increased their awareness of Chinese traditions. Sierra Club Organized in 1971 by Lorin Gill, the Hawaii Sierra Club members wanted to establish a hiking and camping program for high school students on Oahu. The WRF group is affiliated with the Hawaii Sierra Club Chapter and is lead by the Hawaii Sierra Club members. Its goals are to increase students' awareness and knowledge of the great outdoors, and to de- velop positive habits and attitudes toward our natural environment. The club gave students the opportunity to enjoy hiking and camping. Their events were topped off by the annual neighbor island hiking! Camping trip and the bi- monthly hikes on Oahu. Meeting weekly, the of- ficers discussed the activities enjoyed by those who participated. K 5 4 7 ,.
