-Z A -T ' 24 X X Kuang Hua Hui The organization Kuang Hua Hui consists of students whose goals were to broaden their ap- preciation and understanding of the Chinese cul- ture. Their involvement and participation in edu- cational and social activities developed their interest and increased their awareness of Chinese traditions. V This year the Girls' Athletic Association com- bined with the newly formed Pep Club to be of service to the school and community. Together, they strove to promote school spirit and to aid the athletic department and pep squad. Through their service projects, which included providing refreshments in the gym concession during basketball games and working with the Red Cross in collecting canned goods, members were brought together by their common goals. U ., REP was first organized by a group of boys who wanted to discover different vocations, but has since turned coed. The club worked towards developing the char- acter of their members and being of ser- vice to the school and community. Among the activities that REP partic- ipated in this year were the homecoming float-building contest, Christmas bell- ringing, an REP banquet, and REP club week.
