This year they performed various service projects such as their Christmas caroling in December. For their social activities, the girls held picnics and planned an end of the year banquet in June. They also earned some extra money for the club. Through these activities the members of the Orientelles were able to strengthen the bonds of friendship among its members as well as doing service to the community. They began the year with their annual Installa- tion Banquet. Money-making projects were planned to raise money for scholarships to be given to selected seniors in the club. They ended the year with a farewell banquet.

V This year the Girls' Athletic Association com- bined with the newly formed Pep Club to be of service to the school and community. Together, they strove to promote school spirit and to aid the athletic department and pep squad. Through their service projects, which included providing refreshments in the gym concession during basketball games and working with the Red Cross in collecting canned goods, members were brought together by their common goals.
