They strove to fulfill their goals of developing competent and aggres- sive business leadership, strengthening the con- fidence of young men and Women in themselves and their work, creating more interest and under- standing in their choice of business occupations, and participating in worthy undertakings for the improvement of business and the community. Among the various activities that the club par- ticipated in this year the annual Youth Confer- ence was the most important event for them.

The girls celebrated National FHA Week which was held in February and they also participated in the State FHA conference which was held at the Pagoda Hotel in April. A banquet culminated the year. Their goals were fo cused on vocational opportunities. Through excursions and lectures the club provided members with opportunities to View engineers at work and to learn more about engineering as a career. The members helped each other in dis- covering and appraising their own abili- ties, aptitudes and interests. At the end of the year, they held a ban- quet for the departing seniors.
