The purpose of this class is to teach boys and girls to play the guitar and ukulele. Getting information, writing the articles and reading the news con- stituted each student's program. The class had another responsibi- lity--that of morale-building. Doing this work helped the stu- dents to express themselves free- ly inacceptable idiomatic English.
