Some of the activities carried out this year were the FHA and FFA get-together, Mothers and Daughters' Tea and monthly meetings. Farrington FHA chapterwas represented at the Island convention in December at McKinley High School. It sent five delegates to the Territorial convention on the Big Island. As an- integral part of the program of home economics in the schools of America, lt offers opportunities f the development of pupil initiative in planning and carrying out activities related to homemaking. ' Future Homemakers of America isan incorporated, non-profit youth organization. It came into being throu the cooperative efforts of youths enrolled ln homemaklng, in secondary schools, ln building a national organizatl of their own in which they may develop and promote better home life for its members and their families.
