'lhe School and Conmunity Service com- mittee sponsored manp projects such as the Comnunity Chest, Christmas Seal, March of Dimes and the Easter Seal drives. George Kiyabu, chairman of the Stu- dent Organizations conmittee, was the rep- resentative at the Student Government executive council for all clubs on the campus. He and his conmittee, with the aid of Miss' Shizue Inanine, faculty adviser, checked all club constitutions, audited each treasurer's report bi-annually and helped clubs in every way to make them worthwhile organizations. This coumittee was headed by Franklin Takei and Miss Doris Takahashi advised the group. The responsibility of the School Spirit and Rally coumittee was to instill in stu- dents the sincere, true and loyal meaning of sportsmanship. Gxairman Audrey Gomes and adviser Mrs. Kee Fun Lee planned ex- change assemblies with other schools, and had song and yell leaders lead the cheer- ing section at all athletic activities.
