The Identification Card committee issued ID cards to all Farrington stu- dents. Its general work covered photo- graphing of students, pasting of pictures on the right cards and laminating them. Walter Fuj ii was chairman md Mr . Ted Ka- hananui, advisor. The Inter-School council was designed to assist in solving problems of the pub- lic and private high schools in Honolulu, and to promote a spirit of good will annng schools. Farrington's representatives were Irene Ebesutani and Violet Kanibayashi. 'lhe Health committee s main purpose was to influence students' health and safety. Chairman of this committee was Mildred Mo- rita and Mrs. Betty Suenaga was the advi- sor. The Handbook committee headed by chair- man Molly Hee edited the handbook and dis- tributed them to all the new students in September.

'lhis coumittee was advised by Miss Miyoko Nakagami. Phyllis Chang was chaiman. 'lhe School and Conmunity Service com- mittee sponsored manp projects such as the Comnunity Chest, Christmas Seal, March of Dimes and the Easter Seal drives. As a special project, the conmittee carried on a Christmas gift drive and clothing drive ' 31
