Ben Molina paced the attack of the Governors with 12 points, followed by Abe Balansag with eight and Harry Tome with seven. Leading 14 to 13 in the first half, the Governors were unable to hold this lead as their lack of height in the final half en- abled the St. Louis Crusaders to control the backboards. Ejected with five fouls were Fred Furukawa and Ben Molina, Uwo first stringers which meant the difference in the secuid half. The score read 48 to 34 in the last quarter and saw the Crusaders vic- tors in this contest. 0 Cutting loose with a bombardment of baskets in the final peri- od, the Farrington Governors turned back the Kaimuki Bulldogs, 32 to 19. The Governor quintet breezed to a 45 to 30 victory over the McKinley Tigers. Forward Abe Balansang was hot with 14 points, followed by Ben Molina and Leon Lum with eight apiece. Farrington stormed to a 17 to 6 lead over MPI in the first quarter and kept increasing the margin in the following periods. Coach Aiwohi used his reserves freely throughout the game but the Govs had too much class for the Owls. led by Ben Molina's 13 points, Farrington breezed to an easy win over Mid-Pacific by a score of 47 to 17. The Rough Riders of Roosevelt upset the Farrington Governors 34 to Ill by setting up a strmg defense. Leon Lum and Abe Balansag shared scoring honors with nine points each. With Ben Molina providing the punch for the Governors with ll points, Farrington upset Iolani by a score of 38 to 33. The Govs gained an early lead and wound up the victors although Iolani staged a strong fourth quarter scoring spree. In the last game of the regular series in the Interscholastic league, the Farrington Governors won eisily over the Hifi' and Blue of Punahou bv a score of 44 to 5.
