Farrington used the platoon system effec- tively which stopped the Red Raiders from going more than once over the goal line. Alternating the single wing with the T- formation for the first time this season, the Maroon and White gridders were within stri- king distance of the Iolani goal twice but on both occasions failed to go over. The Farrington Governors muffed the privi- lege of participating in the Thanksgiving doubleheader when they lost, 21 to 7, to St. Louis.
