JN-in ll nt a touchdown WC vgoanui scores'- FARRINGTON vs. PUNAHOU The Maroon and White clad Governors played its last game on their schedule against the bigger, heavier and more experienced Punahou eleven: Far- rington dropped the verdict by a 20-0 Count. Although the Govs were much lighter, both on the line and the backlield as compared to the Buffanblus, we can be just as well proud of our players who put up a great fight all the way. Danny Garcia, who played in the half-back position made several spec- tacular catches from passes thrown by Kaneko, Get it, Sammll' FARRINGTON vs. ST. LOUIS The Governors, playing their sixth straight game of the season dropped a heartbreaking 25-26 deci- sion to the fighting Crusaders from St. Louis for it's fifth straight defeat. With Walter Kaneko sparking the Govs offense with three passes for touchdowns by Danny Garcia, Sam Koanui and Fred Mamiya. Koanui also scored a one-pointer from a pass from Kaneko after joe Saito ended a 62 yard advance going over from the 3 yard line.
