F.H.S. vs. KAIMUKI In a thrilling game before a crowd of 10,000 fans the Kaimuki Bull- dogs upset the Farrington eleven 13-12. In a thrilling last quarter, the Maroons scored both of their touchdowns on long passes from quarterback Walter Kaneko. Fukuda eludes tackler. Young breaks through Blue and Gray. FARRINGTON vs. ROOSEVELT Roosevelt Rough Riders made a start- ling upset over the Kalihi grid machine by a score of 14 to 6. The game was played on a wet and sloppy field, with a sea of mud hampering both team's offensive threats. The Governors' aerial attack was made almost impossible with the wet and slippery ball. The Kalihi gridders could only manage to complete two out of eleven attempts through the airlanes. Dirty players. I Keanoano in the open! F.H.S. vs. IOLANI Meeting the Iolani Red Raiders on November 1, the Governors, usually a passing team, were defeated at their own game as the Raiders uncorked a dazzling aerial attack to top the Maroons 25 to 7. The Governors were in scoring position several times but were hurled back on just about every occasion by penalties. The line played well while in the backlield, Danny Garcia and Walter Kaneko stood out. Interfering with the receiver. V Yamada about to lateral to Trinidad.
