He has gone out of his way to help others, as was shown during the presentation of Li ' l Abner. He has also helped unceasingly on the annual and with the dr amatics class. He helps in small ways to make the school run smoothly. Although he may sound gruff at times we know that he really cares. So, to one who has long deserved this honor, we, the Senior Class, do humbly dedicate the 1969 Archway. 4 Archway Atr. Ccuris Arcziwrsr r ‘dn Rememorance Bonn ie A happy face has depaitcd from our midst. A homecoming candidate, a drill team member-we will always remember our fellow student, who in her lifetime befriended us all and captured a lasting place in our hearts. 1 cannot say, and 1 will not say That she is dead she is just away! With a cheery smile, and a wave of the hand. She has wandered into an unknown land. And left us dreaming how very fair It needs must be, since she hngers there. And you-0 you, who the wildest yearn For the old time step and glad return. Think of her faring on, as dear In the love of There as the love of Here; Think of her stiU as the same, I say: She is not dead -she is just away! James Whitcomb Riley ofin Moore A friend is gone. The loud voice at pep rallies is stdl. The dirtiest jersey on the football field has been cleaned one last time. We grieve his passing, but aU is not lost, for he lives on in our minds and hearts. Two roads diverged in a yellow wood... And both that morning equally lay In leaves no step had trodden black. Oh, [he] kept the first for another day! Yet knowing how way leads on to way, [He] doubted if [he] should ever come back, I shall be telling this with a sigh Somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and [he] - [He] took the one less traveled by. And that has made all the difference. -Robert Frost As one goes, As one see s to find, grope wi ltd di im Archway 9 10 Archway Sy tfie plea from trie pasf, Archway 11 ifie pledge of tde present, 12 Archway And Sy tfie Clarion Archway 13 of tde beyond. He has also shown his abUity for leadership by being elected President of the Key Club this year. Hats off to Frank for a job well done. 82 Archway in tfie Class of ’69 Ann Bass “Let’s fight, don’t stop...” These are typical words shouted by Ann Bass at every basket- ball and football game. Ann’s bubbling, vivacious personality helped her to win the position of head cheerleader this year. She has shown her leadership abilities by holding several offices during her stay at FarmviUe High. Good luck to Ann in everything she attempts to do.
