FOREWORD The staff of the KNIGHTS IN REVIEW has attempted to preserve for you in this booklet a simple account of the students and events of the year 1942 43 in the Farmlngton Hlgh School This year we tabulate the following actlvities as our COhtFlbHt1OUS to the war effort total sales of lar Stmqm and Bonds for elght months S4735 50, 1007 participation of their purchase each month since January, the scrap drive, the efforts of the home e girls in the Share the Meat program, food conservatlon, the use of sugar and fat saving recipes, the sttdy of point values of foods, practical home nursing, knitting, and saving of scrap, a refresher math course, the obstacle course for the boys as worked out by the Office of Civilian Defense, and the program of physical fit ness through SXBFCISG for the girls as outlined by the U S Department of Education We hope that as the years pass by that students may open this booklet and read wlth pride the accompllshments of the Farmington High School for the year 1942 43 pf' A.
