Vocational education is definitely an integral part of our educational program in preparation for better citizenship. It aids in bringing greater satisfaction and worthwhile living to the boy or girl. The part-time training program is designed especially to provide vocational training for high school seniors. This training is to assist young workers to bridge the gap between the untrained and the experienced worker. It also offers experience on the job and instruction in school, based upon actual practical problems related to or developed from these work experiences. The pupils regularly enrolled in the program must, as a minmum age require- ment, attain their sixteenth birthday during the first semester of their enrollment, they must be mentally and physically qualified to benefit by the training and must be employed in a recognized occupation approved by the State Department of Ed- ucation.
