Close-up students fly to Washington We left for Omaha on Sunday, April 20, at 2:45 in the morning. We got there about 5:00 a.m. and got on the plane to fly to Chicago and then on to Washington. When we arrived, we unpacked and had the whole day to get familiar with the surroundings. On Monday we attended a few good seminars and saw some sights, such as the Washington Monument. We rode around on a bus and toured Washington. On Tuesday we attended a seminar at Capitol Hill. We walked all over and saw the House and the Senate. We attended a meeting there. On Thursday we attended more seminars. They were pretty good. We learned a lot. Friday was our last day there. We got to go wherever we wanted in Washington. I went to Georgetown and spent a lot of money. It was the time of our life. Saturday was the most depressing day there. We met many people while we were there, but then we had to leave them all because it was time to come home.
