SENIOR CLASS HISTORY On a sunny day in September, 1955 we entered Falls City High School as meek little freshmen. As our class officers, we elected: President, Gerald Stitzer; Vice-President, Dale Bachman; Secretary, Carol Nanomantube; Treasurer, Virginia Stalder. On the Student Activity Committee were Jerry Linscott and Bill Von Seggern. On the Honor Roll were Carol Prior, Robert Franklin, Charles Arnold, Jerry Linscott, Elaine Dorr, Raymond Huebner, Frances Lock, Dorothy Picton, Marian Liebsch, LaRhue Ramsey, Georgia Kirkendall, Larry Kuhlman, Bobbie Jo Garretson, Deborah Wise, Bill Von Seggern, Roger Still, Barbara Goodell, Mary Robb, Maynard Speers, Jean Roberts, Elaine Clark, Donna Tubach, Nedra Winsor, and Dona Friesen. Those in Band were Shirley Ruch, Richard Pickard, Jean Roberts, Carol Prior, Dona Friesen, Betty Carter, Linda Wickiser, Virginia Stalder, Bill Von Seggern, Deborah Wise, Bobbie Jo Garretson, Patricia Dean, Jeanette Bowers, Dorothy Picton, Frances Lock, Ronnie Ireland, Carol Nanomantube, Raymond Huebner, Elaine Dorr, and Robert Bertram. Band Day in Lincoln was attended by Jean Roberts, Carol Prior, Larry Kuhlman, Dona Friesen, Betty Carter, Linda Wickiser, Virginia Stalder, Dorothy Picton, Francis Lock, Carol Nanomantube, and Elaine Dorr. Carol Prior and Jeanette Bowers as majorettes helped the upper-classmen lead the band. Our letter award winners for our freshmen were William Piper and Wallie Piper, both lettering in track. Attending the District Music Contest at Peru were Jean Roberts, Carol Prior, Dona Friesen, Betty Carter, Linda Wickiser, Virginia Stalder, Deborah Wise, Dorothy Picton, Patricia Dean, Frances Lock, Carol Nanomantube, Raymond Huebner, Elaine Dorr, and Robert Bertram. With this we ended our first year at Falls City High School and were ready for three months of vacation. With the beginning of September, 1956, we started our second year, ready for work. As class officers we chose: President, Dennis McBride; Vice-President, Fred Gilbert; Secretary-Treasurer, Jean Roberts. On the Student Activity Committee were Georgia Kirkendall and Ronald Kelley. On the Honor Roll were Dorothy Picton, Marian Liebsch, Bobbie Jo Garretson, Deborah Wise, Bill Von Seggern, Barbara Goodell, Joyce Zimmerman, LaRhue Ramsey, Ona Klema, Jerry Linscott, Charles Arnold, and Raymond Huebner. Our Majorettes for our second year were Jeanette Bowers, Jean Roberts, Carol Prior, and Dona Friesen. On their way to the District Music Contest at Peru were Carol Nanomantube, Raymond Huebner, Betty Lutz, Rosalie Rannebeck, Frances Lock, Dorothy Picton, Patricia Dean, Virginia Stalder, Linda Wickiser, Norman Kirkendall, Faye Witt, Donna Tubach, Robert Franklin, Deborah Wise, Raymond Kirkendall, Ona Klema, Barbara Goodell, Betty Carter, Elaine Lewis, Dona Friesen, Jerry Linscott, Carolyn Ebel, Elaine Dorr, Carol Prior, Deanna Stevens, Carolyn Iwig, Jean Roberts, Robert Bertram, and Elaine Clark. Those attending Peru District Band Clinic were Dorothy Picton, Patricia Dean, and Carol Prior. Peru Chorus Clinic was attended by Virginia Stalder, Linda Wickiser, Donna Tubach, Carolyn Iwig, and Elaine Dorr. Sophomores with letter awards were Fred Gilbert and William Piper for track. This concludes our second year and the beginning of a short vacation. In September, 1957, we were no longer underclassmen but proud Juniors. Helping with our class were our class sponsors: Mrs. Kammer, Mrs. Joy, Mr. Eckman, Mr. Hatch, and Mrs. Hahn. Elected for class officers were President, LaRhue Ramsey; Vice-President, Bill Von Seggern; Secretary-Treasurer, Virginia Stalder. Student Activity Committee were Peggy Sailors, Roger Still, and Bonnie Kessler. This year our representatives to the District Music Contest at Peru were Rosalie Rannebeck, Betty Lutz, Carol Nanomantube, Raymond Huebner, Elaine Dorr, Elaine Lewis, Jerry Linscott, Ona Klema, Jean Roberts, Donna Tubach, Deanna Stevens, Carol Prior, Faye Witt, Carolyn Ebel, Norman Kirkendall, Dona Friesen, Betty Carter, Virginia Stalder, Barbara Goodell, Raymond Kirkendall, Deborah Wise, Patricia Dean, Jeanette Bowers, Dorothy Picton, Francis Lock, and Linda Wickiser.
