was selected as Mxss Falls Cxty and we were as proud as could be when she was selected as Queen of the Festlval In her regal robes Barbara would turn any k1ng s head And that she d1d turnlng the heads members of the cast ln the the one act play Dark Wmd Elame Krondak journeyed to her second speech contest on March 30 after appearlng ln the State American Legion Natxonal Oratorlcal Contest held ln Norfolk March 22 She was one of the s1x fmallsts m the state contest At the Peru Declamatory Contest Elame entered the mterrupatnve poetry d1v1s1on All were recalled to the home front and army llfe
