The starting line-up usually consisted of George Corder, Stanley Cunningham, Larry Jantzen, Kenny Taylor and Nolan Small. The team was ably assisted by the following substitutes: Ronny Estes, Harold Mitchell, Mike Kerns, Gary Lonquist and George Brewster. Dave established a new school record in the 880 - the time was 2:07.9. Other strong point-getters were Bill Hanan in the pole vault 111' 3 J and Ernie Bruce, co-holder of the school high-jump record at 5' 1O .
