H. en -'- DEDICATIG We dedicate this annual to Riley Jones, Ronnie Howell, Brenda Thompson, Linda Parham, and Donna Warf, the top ten per cent of the senior class of 1964-'65, They have shown oustanding leadership, scholastic ability, and loyalty to our school and to the students in it. These people represent the character which we value in our citizens of the future. It was with integrity that they gained this titleg it was with patriotism that they invested itg it was with wisdom that they used it. We feel that since this is the first year we have given this honor, that it is fitting and proper that we dedicate this book to them. W A ' WW 5 EM , av I I I ,,,,,4,5f , ' fww MR. MITCHELL WRIGHT We wish to express our gratitude to Mr. Wright, Supervisor of Teaching Personnel, for the countless ways in which he has aided us in the past. His readiness to assist us in our undertakings has meant much to the entire student body and faculty of Fairview High School. MR. W. C. YATES We take this opportunity to pay tribute to Mr. W. C. Yates, Superintendent of the Williamson County Schools, for the many tasks he has performed, which have contributed to the smooth functioning of our school system. His careful supervision of business and financial matters, and his coordination of school affairs were clearly seen in our many accomplishments this year. Mr. W. W. Wallace has won the respect. admiration, and affection of the student body of Fairview High during his many years of ser- vice as principal of our school. His careful supervision and coordination of faculty and student body affairs were clearly exemplified in our many accomplishments last year. He has continuously encouraged excellence in whatever we undertake. He has shown great understanding of the students and has, in all his dealings with them, displayed a sincere interest in their affairs. It was his school-spirited en- thusiasm together with his interest in the in- dividual that made our school and our year great. A job well done Mr. Wallace. qu H ifll?llql'!vl'.,fNi1 . W. Griggs The memories that we held so dear Of all the joy and all the cheer Are brought to life when once again, We praise the deeds of a cherished friend. The boy, J. W. , of whom we praise Was always a friend in troubled days. He was there to lend a hand To any woman, child, or man. His pleasing smile and heart so gay His gentle hands have gone away, A book to read was his genial face That spread heavenly warmth in every darkened place. Q While yet a youth, and full of achievement His family and friends were met with bereavement. But each of us the truth do know That in our heart, a seed will grow. This seed of memory, to a flower will grow And to each of us will always grow That though all good things must some- day end. Here was a kind and gentle friend. I-le left us on a summer day In June, I believe is what they say. We lost this dear best friend But to us it's still not the end. We as seniors leave this parting thought With the happiness and cheer he brought To us a lesson was taught. Q CL WWC-Z 8 M, IQQHAW H :W fn H w W ai i 1 H lrgg H W E 2 B . gi f :- s . "'- . , 4 ,- .
