Kohl, I. Dunn, S. Konz, B. Rath. Fourth Row: N. Basile, I. Prit- chard, F. Parkison, P. Cary, M. DeNise. Fifth Row: L. Holmes, R. Lewis, B. Ellsworth, B. Zimmer. FLAG CUST ODIANS Every day that Fairport High School is in session, the flag must be flying atop the staff in front of the school building. To at- tend this duty, the care of the flag, Mrs. Ryon annually appoints a senior girl and a senior boy. This year the honor was given to Ioan Pritchard and jack Martin. Before class you see Iack raising the stars and stripes and at the end of the day, lowering them. It is 1oan's duty to present the flag to the next year's custodians on class day. These two seniors have done a splendid job this year. We are proud of them, as we are of the flag. We salute you-Ioan Prit- chard, Iack Martin, and the red, white, and blue. y 27 STUDENT PATROL Each year nineteen members of the junior class are chosen by advisers Miss Fortmiller and Mr. Warner to the student patrol. Last year Andy Lynch was elected captain with Bob Lewis as alternate. With An- dy's leaving Fairport, Bob took over his duties and By- ron Ellsworth assumed the responsibilities of alternate. The student patrol has many duties, the first of which is seeing that classes pass with the utmost order. It is their duty to suppress confusion, limit the noise, and, perhaps most important, to set a good example. The members are chosen for their reliability, response to direction, and general at- titude. Failing to observe these codes after appoint- ment, a member may be re- placed. No one on the patrol wishes to overlook these req- uisites, however, because of the honor, pride, and respon- sibility that are attached to his post. 1. PRITCHARD, 1. MARTIN
