Breitbeck JUNE MAD On January 16, the smell of grease paint filled the air, for the Seniors were pref paring to enact their annual play. XVith Bliss ,loyce to coach and lliss lfortmiller to prompt in the wings, the house lights dimmed and the curtain rose on a very charm- ing presentation. The action dealt with a typical American family, the VVoods, whose home was fl gathering place for the young people of the neighborhood. Chuck Harris, the hoy next door, was in and out, talking of his new glider, while Penny lVood dreamed of a career. The love interest was complicated hy glamorous .lulie Harris, Uncle illeryin, and his college friend, Roger Yan Yleck. Little lXIillie Lou, Efiie and Elmer, two servants, supplied the comedy. Ir was a night of genuine fun for all who attended and netted the Seniors 3775. for their 'l'reasury. At the end of the season . . .
