The Clam' of 1954 SENIOR OFFICERS Philip Heeter Don Bolinger, Nancy Kuhbander, Carole Howard, Shirley Weiser. Three years ago in 1951, the class of '54 entered Fairmont High as an energetic, prospective class. Since then, they have proved themselves to be a memorable group of ambitious boys and girls. Although it was rather hard at times to co-operate with the situations which formed around this inexperienced class, they never gave up as a team to accom- plish the goal which Fairmont classes have always lived up to. Their first chance came to display their ambitions with the sophomore as- sembly. Club Tropicana was truly enjoyed by students as the sopho- mores worked hard to make this dance a success. As they began their junior year, responsibilities were gradually and continually growing. In addition to their wonderful dance, The Crystal Ball , was the junior play, Father of the Bride . This play, a humorous comedy, helped finance the junior-Senior Banquet which was held the last of May. The climax of the year was the junior-Senior Prom. It was worth the effort displayed by everyone. And so now the final year has come to a close. The activities of this class will long be remembered. Among these activities was their humor- ous comedy, Life With Mother . The last event of our seniors ended with the dance, The Twilight Twirl . These three years at Fairmont will never be forgotten. Champ leaves one special message to this senior class, Good luck and farewell class of '5-4 . .I J. Walden, Jr.-Convuir
