But two touchdown interceptions by Roseville, and only one TD by Fairfield left the score final at 76-22. Vanden tool? the next game before Fairfield could score. The first quarter saw Vanden leading 72-0, but the Falcons contained the score in the second period. A Vanden TD i'n the third and one in the fourth left the Falcons with their second nonscoring game of 0-24. During the Davis game one touchdown was scored by the Falcons during the last 79 seconds of the game, but the Blue Devils tool? it with a score of 78-6. The Falcons also tool? a loss at the Woodland game with a score of 6-24. Cordova kept the j V's record constant by walloping them in another scoreless game for Fairfield. They then bowed to Mitchell with a final score of 0-36 in their second bout of the season. But their third game ended a two-year losing streak when the littlest Falcons trounced Vacaville 30-6. The Falcons took the first quarter with 76 points and left the Bull- dogs scoreless. Then the defensive efforts by both teams prevented scoring by either team in the second quarter. Third quarter gave the Falcons 6 more points but Vaca- ville established themselves on the scoreboard during the fourth. Another touchdown by Fairfield late in the last quarter produced a final score of 30-6 in favor of Fair- field. The optimistic Falcons next travelled to Woodland and achieved their second wi'n, ripping through the Wolve 's defenses to gain a 20-76 win. Their third Delta win occured in a suspenseful game at Davis when the Falcons met the Armijo Indians. The scoreboard remained unlit during the first half of the game, but a thrilling touchdown was achieved by Fairfield with only 30 seconds left in the third.
