The game ended, though, with as much fighting off the field as on, when enraged Sonoma fans broke a bus window, and performed minor damage to a Fairfield rooter. Next the Falcons played a close game with Napa, and emerged as victors with a final score of 23-74. Roseville 's attempt to break the Falcons winning streak proved unsuccessful. During the first quarter Fairfield was quick to light the scoreboard, and in the second the Falcons chalked up 20 points to Roseville's O. The third quarter saw Fairfield gaining 8 more points before Roseville achieved their first TD. A scoring spree by Fairfield ended the third with a score of 36-6. Roseville secured their only other points in the game during the fourth, but the Falcons emerged unquestionable victors with a score of 42k 72. Vanden proved to be stiff competition, but the Falcons, not to be overcome, ended the game with a 20-75 score in their favor. Davis was the scene for the first Delta meet where the Falcons went scoreless during the Hrst half, while Davis held 6 points. However, the second half provided the Falcons with two TD 's and two successful PA T'S to leave the field as victors with a score of 24-74. The Falcon 's winning streak was shattered by Woodland with the final score of 7-i-24, the Falcons bowing to their opponents. Fairfield 's Homecoming produced a scoreless game for both the Falcons and the Cordova Lancers. The unfortunate stroke of bad luck appeared undying as Vacaville made a stunning comeback from a 7 4-0 half time score against them to achieve 28 points and beat the Falcons 74-28. The last game of the season was played at Armijo where it appeared that the Falcons would loose again, with Fairfield trailing by two points and only 30 seconds left in the game. But then a storybook field goal by the Falcons allowed them to emerge victors with a final score of 24-22.
