Assistant Principals l am grateful that my job at Fairfield High School offers so much opportunity to work with so many fine young people, and gives me a chance to see the educational goals of these persons reaching fulfillment. This school year has been very valuable to me in an educational sense as well, for l have seen students and ,757 f, ,av ,- Q vi' Mr. Pettygrove lt has all been said before. We can define apathy as an inability to deal with one's current problems, and a tendency to sit idly by, taleing no action. ln my opinion, this is the greatest single issue facing us at Fairfield High, and only the constant efforts of a dedicated faculty and a hard- worleing student body will overcome the problem. l thinle we have what it takes. Mr. Gibson PRINCIPAL 'S MESSAGE The main goal of any yearbook is to reflect the life ofa school during the year. ln observing the development of this yearboole, it is quite obvious that this boole does, in fact, reflect not only the varied activities here at Fairfield High School but, it another sense, the pride and accontplishment of students and faculty. As a new principal's this year, it has been a pleasant e,x'perience for me to note the pride, concerns, interests and accomplishnvents of both faculty and students. lt is this theme found beneath the Coat of Arms Facta Non Verba lmeaning Deeds not Wordsj that l hope is reflected in this year- boole and will be reflected in years to come. My most sincere congratulations to the year- boole staff for ajob well done and to the students and faculty for the rnany acconvplishnvents during this school year. ifordcni iv. Lil, sf ri, 7111?
