Shishido T. Kilmer 2'f1fs'i42'!f The Falcon wrestlers this year grappled on to carry out a four year winning streak. They walleed away with trophies in every tournament, and went on to win the tournament championship at Roseville. Numerous runner up trophies were achieved, but the Sacejoaquin Section Championship saw Fairfield taleing the team championship and winning three individual championship. This was quite an acomplishment for none of the other 92 schools represented placed more than one champion. Four athletes qualified for the State wrestling tournament, and finished as the number one team from Superior California. They also fought it out with 700 other schools to earn a 7 4th place standing and two individual medals at the state championship. The fighting Falcons preformed in the dual matches. Twelve wins and only four losses occured for Fairfield in the Delta League. The climax of the season came in an exciting match where the Falcons defeated Lodi- the Central Conference Champions. The wrestlers ended their season leaving the four year record sparleling with 63 wins 9 losses and I tie.
