L Ab 54 f, ' 5 S f fs, 'QS' '2 'ix K 4 Fairfield 's annual Puff Bowl is the time when the girls don jerseys to battle it out on the field, and the boys don skirts to cheer them on. And battle they did! Before the first quarter had ended the Seniors had succeeded in dislocating the collar bone of a junior Miss and giving another's face a very lady-lilee drag through the dirt. A Senior girl made her debut when she pranced daintily over the juniors goal to achieve the only score of the game. The second quarter saw points being scored by neither team, but the half-time show was enough to make a mother cry. Four Seniors and three junior boys dressed gayl y in cheerleaders uniforms and painted and padded in appropriate locations, pranced on the field to entertain the crowds with a few limp- wristed cheers. The girls paraded bacle onto the field and resumed their battle. The Seniors achieved another touchdown, but it was declared invalid due to a penalty.
