4, '50 the Members of the l l .gl Graduating Qlass -++!1K++' June 1, 1927. OU will soon he pushed from the Fairfax nest to test your. untried wings to see if you have been equipped physically and mentally to compete with the other fledglings of your time, and to withstand the buffeting winds of the worlcaday world. The Finches, Swans, Robins, and Partridges have cared for you thus far, conveying to you such crumbs of knowledge as your mental digestive system could assimilate. Now you are too large for the nest and must Hy forth to meet your fate. Snares of temptation will be spread for you. Sharp bealced, iron taloned hawks of disaster will lurk in unsus- pected places. Prowling, catlilce sins will attempt to destroy you. My hope is that your eyes have been trained to discern good from evil and that your moral wings are strong enough to carry you away from temptation and sin, and that you may live out your allotted span of life in serenity and peace, singing your songs of joy in the shady groves of contentment.
