ay © =e 99 4ISSIE Ww ‘The difference between the right word and almost the right word is the difference between lightning and the lightning bug.” Thus, I find it hard to write just what I would like to say about ‘‘Cissie.”” Surely none of us will ever forget her sincerity, good advice, loyalty, wonderful sense of humor and all the other qualities she possesses which make her the best friend one could wish for. Nor will we forget her love for loud(!) socks, Howard John- son steaks, gay times, Marchioness, and, of course, Carolina! eer Torry’ Ww Totty has every characteristic that one looks for in a true friend. She hails from Nashville, Tennessee, and, though just a little girl, she is full of common sense, book sense, and general understanding. She is a charming girl and always a lady. Making friends is one of the best things about going away to school and I’ve certainly found a friend in Totty. Tl never forget those ‘‘details,’ that sly giggle, and those monstrous petticoats!
