‘SJANIE”’ Ww If you should see a bright smile accom- panied by a sweet voice coming out of Room 20, it is none other than Janie Cotten with her stack of ‘‘Logs”’ to read us some funny jokes she has just discovered. Cotten is quite the gal for telling her tall tales and could beat any fisherman at it. She has a singularly good voice and her favorite songs are “Fight for the Navy” and ‘‘Anchors Aweigh.” If one should come back to the smoker and hear laugh- ter and shrieks, it is our gal Janie telling us the latest Fairfax gossip. o d ppett ; ‘ n be eid Fil LR “Sook” Ww When we think of school, we invariably think of life-time friends, but there is usu- ally one who particularly stands out in our minds. The one I am thinking of is none other than ‘‘Sookie” Fain. She, with her personality, smile, and unbeatable energy has made life wonderful. She is great at cheering her teams, and she’s even better on the golf course and the tennis court. If you ever want to know where to go for a good week-end, just ask her (and I bet it begins with a “C’’). Yes, the years may part us all, but we will never forget this girl who is fine, just because she is ““Sook”’.

SDONNA- LER. OG When you hear that ““Clomp, clomp” down the hall of Senior Dorm, it isn’t Mr. Carter; it’s Andross herself, and she is still carrying a torch for the “Keefer.” This Connecticut Yankee with those “come hither’? eyes has one of those rare person- alities that can never be forgotten! Donna- Lee has gained the love of all of us here at Fairfax and she will always be remembered, for her jokes, sense of humor, and her everlasting ‘“‘Quips’’—‘‘O-oh, Ow, Our!”’. HARRIE Ww Precious articles always come in small bundles, and we have our ‘‘Little Bit.”’. Of course, the first thing one notices about Harriet is her beautiful and unusual eyes. After that one just goes right on discover- ing lovely things about her. The future looks bright for our “Little Bit,’ who, in parting, leaves behind a host of friends wishing her every success.
