The point system is set up to reward outstanding students and those who do more than the required work in sports. Those who acquire twenty-five points are automatically made members of the organization. When awards are presented at the annual banquet, a Fairfax shield is given to anyone who has accumulated 100 points; a letter to anyone with 200 points; and a white blazer with Fairfax shield to anyone with 400 points. This vear the activities of the Association in- cluded Varsity sports—basketball and hockey; sponsorship of the Red Cross Drive and March of Dimes collection; apple picking on Mr. Gates’ farm; intra-murals in all sports; an aquacade, directed by Jimmie Closs; and an informal dance.
