Some oT The band members were senT To The sTaTe music clinic, The Tecumseh clinic. and The Peru MINK clinic, and The enTire band aTTended The Third annual Micl-EasT TesTival held aT York. Small groups and soloisTs wenT To The DisTricT music con- TesT aT Geneva, Nebraska, where all received su- perior raTings. The band, combined wiTh vocal groups, presenTed The Spring musicale April I9. Many senior band members marched wiTh The 66 Tor The lasT Time when The band led The parade on Band day aT The Fairbury UniTed lmplemenT Ex- posiTion and on DecoraTion day.
