Af fhe annual freshman mixer, fhose freshmen af- fending were given a free boffle of soda pop as an award for wearing green. By way of enferfainmenf during fhe firsf semes- fer fhe frosh had a line parfy af fhe Bonham Theafre. As fheir share of fhe Hi-Y Carnival, fhe ninfh- graders sponsored a bingo sfand in fhe soufheasf corner of fhe gymnasium. Amid flying corn, fhe class members were lcepf busy by fhe many sfud- enfs who pafronized fhe boofh, and fhe freshmen awarded numerous prizes fo fhe forfunafe winners. As fheir confribufion fo making fhe year of '48 and '49 a success, fhe freshmen had 2I class mem- bers in fhe band.
