Many excellent departments were available to help direct us in the enhonce- ment of our own personal skills and to stimulate our minds in ways that we will use throughout the rest of our lives, Upon our exodus from EHS, we were filled with many memories which we will cherish. When we look back ot our BEACON - our guiding light- we can look at all the friends we made that helped us make it through the four years of high school life. We are also able to face the future with mony forks. S5155 - 'im VALUABLE GUIDANCE 5 ,, - 3 DIRECTICNS UNFCDLD L N 1 if! 1 , W , N k ' w 1 N , N N 1 N 1 X 1 w 1 1 , 1 N . A lot of hard work, dedication, and research goes into preparing for each tournament. Rodgers shares touching moments Senior cheerleaders, J. Rodgers and C. 0'Connor The Senior Pep Rally was a moving experience for underclassmen as well as Seniors. Though it was not the end of the year, it was a time for good-byes and l'll never forget you phrases. The same school song we sang at every pep rally held new meaning for Seniors for this was the final choral tribute given to our school. Emotions ran high. Happiness, mixed with a feeling of loss for years and friends gone by, filled the gymnasium. Many of the Senior football players, cheerleaders and drill teamers were finishing an activity that was ended forever. A whole phase of life ended but a new door opened for the Seniors of 82. LO E IS IN THE AIR Valentine's Day holds a very important meaning for all the sweethearts at Everman High. This year was no exception. Carna- tions, love potions, and singing telegrams, sold by the Student Coun- cil, helped put Love in the Air. Many of the girls received a dozen long stem roses or balloon-a-grams from their favorite guy. These are just a few of the many ways love was shared on this day. 1? Q, 'As '58 if-R ii . An assembly was presented at the end of the week sponsored by the Awareness Club. The program was made spectacular by such guests as Bert Williams, Ft. The winning spirit of the team was so intense, energy was simply rising from the basketball court as cheering crowds ebbed the team on to certain vic- tory. The most outstanding feature of the group would be the oneness', expressed in every action made by the players. Trying to single out one star player from all of these ex- cellent athletes was difficult if not impossible. Their achievements on the basketball court can only be described as sensational. .36 +6 ig 4 Q. wr ? veyiw, SEN: Frances Scroggins, Natalie Thornton, Donna Clark, Joycelyn Fannin, Debra Hall, Felicia Dawson To th Hoop!! The Fellowship of Christian Athletes sponsored a basketball game on January 23rd to raise money to send their officers to a summer workshop. The game was played by the male faculty members who were coached by Mr. John Reed, and the senior football players who were coached by Ken Hart. The faculty won with the score of 44 to 36.
