At the beginning of the year, they held their annual dinner, and later sponsored a volleyball tournament, a stationery sale, a taffy apple sale, and a roller skating party. They also participated in the foreign language club Newsletter, and are in the process of making Spanish crafts 'The German Club has participated in the ski trip, the vol- leyball tournament, bake sales and a spring picnic. Each year they have a dinner with authentic German food. During the Christmas season, the club held a successful candle sale. .rag-3, .Q GQ i i

Club members built a float for the Homecoming parade, held the annual volleyball marathon and enjoyed an overnight sid trip. Twlrlers place in a national competition Theresa Koris and Dottie Drumm compete as a duet team and have placed in both state and national competition for me last two years. The 'Twirlers perform at football half- time shows, in parades, pep assemblies, and the donkey basketball game. Mr. Gilworth, the sponsor, helps the girls perfect their routines.
