'Ihe Evergreen Park A. F. S. chapter and the Kowalczyk family sponsored Judith Graham, of New Zealand, this year. Judy's hometown, Hamilton, is the fifth largest city in New Zealand, with a population of 100, 000. A senior here, Judy would be attending a teachers' college if she were back home. Her favorite American things are snow and foods not found in New Zealand. She had never seen snow before, and was quite excited about our first snowfall. In addition to sponsoring Judy, the A. F. S. club holds a fall square dance, a volleyball marathon, and a pizza sale. A. F.S. exchange students from nearby schools are invited to the major activities, and the Domestic Exchange pro- gram has become popular in recent years. In it, several E.P. students travel to a downstate town or farm for a week or two, and then their host stu- dents join us up north for sev- eral days.
