402 Seniors n Flower: Rose and Cream Or- Motto: Make no little plans. chicl Color: Rose and Cream They have no magic to stir men's blood: make big plans, aim high in hope and work. SENIF RS 4 The 4986-87 senior closs officers: bock row- Shelby Murphy-Secretory, Elizobeth Jockson-President, Cindy Burtch-PTSA Rep., Lydo Dioz-Vice-President, Christo Belcher-Judicidl Bodrd Rep., Don Milton-Treosurer ond Liso Burke-PTSA Rep. Seniors breothed o sigh of relief ot the be- ginning ofthe yeor. This wos the lost leg of their journey through high school. Seniors went through o lot of mdturlng ond reoliiy during their lost yeor, but the glorious yeor come olong with fon-foir ond celebrotion thot never ldsted long enough. With opportunity ond de- terminotlon, the senior closs lived the yeor to the fullest, Responsibility wos something thot wos worked on throughout high school, but seniors leorned to moster responsibility, success, ond pressure. Success wos port of the seniors' lives. Without success, whot would o senior be? There certdinly would not hcive been ciny sen- iors. Pressure wos seen everywhere especiolly in those few dedicoted individuols thot took chdrge to moke the closs of '87 o success. Lost summer the senior cldss storted prepor- ing for the Homecoming Donce ond mdking posters for the closs competitions. During the yeor the senior closs officers were in chorge of dctivities such ds pldnning Senior Skip Dov, the Homecoming Donce ond festivi- ties, ond the Senior Breokfost. Also they helped pldn the dwords ossembly ond ci scdvenger hunt with Kennedy. The seniors officers' gool for the yeor wos to moke the seniors' lost yeor ot EHS the best one ever ond to be the most spirited closs. ln order to occomplish thot godl they held more octivi- ties for the senior cldss to porticipote in, such os senior cruise, the senior breokfost etc. When osked to mention ony specidl chordc- teristics obout the senior closs, Elizabeth Jock- son, President, commented, The closs of '87 is o very spirited closs. Everyone gets involved in some wdy in the school octivities. Everyone is friendly, outgoing ond helpful. She olso mentioned thot 'tThe closs of 4987 stonds out for its leodership crbilities in the school ond its lorge cimount of pride. We olso stond out for orgdnizing the scdvenger hunt ogoinst Kennedy. by: Dionne Corey Jennifer Hole
