THE SHOW MUST GO ON If it were not for these two organizations our assemblies, games, and planned pro- grams would not run as smoothly as they do. The Stage Crew works behind the curtains to see that everything is in order. They oper- ate the lights, the curtains and the PA sys- tem. They do almost everything but put on the show. HROUGH SERVICE TO OUR SCHOOL CLINIC STAFF One class period o week these girls supervise our school clinic. They ore reody to help anyone who comes to the clinic. The girls on the clinic staff are supervised by our school nurse Mrs. Hogan, ond faculty advisor, Miss Baldwin BOOKSTORE WORKERS The bookstore is o supply store for the students of Evergreen. The students interested in nursing as a career meet together and share that interest with the Future Nurses of America. ' The members along with their advisor Mrs. Eleanor Hogan and officers - President, Sylvia Moon, Vice Presi- dent, Anisia Khvoroff, Secretary, Carolyn Perdue, and Treasurer, Shirley Dick, explore the opportunities and requirements in the field. Moon C. Perdue. These girls grow as individuals by working together and learning about the community life in which they will soon participate as informed citizens and possibly nurses. This organization volunteers hospital service. They at- tend field trips to schools of nursing, and other medical institutions. The Future Teachers Association is an organized active group which provides information and experience which will help students to learn more about teaching as a career. The club's officers include President, Sally Christy, Vice President, Pat Morrow, Secretary, Rosie Pinto, Treasurer, Priscilla Smotherman, Librarian, Dena Schlich- tig, and advisor Miss Nightingale. This year they took a field trip to the Seattle University campus where they observed a class of deaf children. To help build our scholarship funds, they have served re- freshments for PTA meetings. They also attend movies related to teaching. A scrap book has been constructed with information on all Washington State Colleges which offer training in teaching. ingale, Advisor.
