Student Council is led by our Student body officers and proiects are planned with the help of representatives. These representatives are sent by each first period class so every student can have his ideas and complaints sent to Student Council. The plans can also be brought back to the students this way. The activities of Student Council include meetings, assemblies, elections, and publicity of school events. The goals which we try to reach are: l. To authorize and control all student organizations within the school. 2. To aid in the development of desirable school spirit and loyalty. 3. To promote better relation and understandings among students. 4. To assume responsibility and experience in self government. Our oFFicers for i958 were President, George Thomas, Vice Presidents, Annette Hamre and Ted Bottorft, Secre- tary, Corlee Campbell, and Treasurer, Pat Morrow. Our new otticers are President, Dan Connelly, Vice Presidents, Susan Leaf and Jim Jean, Secretary, Sharon Carlton, and Treasurer, Kay Crotty. With the help of Mr. Dahl these officers have led the school in reaching for our goals.
