Homecoming week was suc- cessful with many different tivities taking place. The hail' way decorating contest started off the week. The sen- ior's hallway won this contest. UCompared to last year, the spirit ofthe students improved 1OOOfo,H said Student Council member Michelle Ungerleider. Homecoming was enhanced with Spirit Week. There were various dress-up days includ- ing, College T-shirt Day, Car- toon Day, and Hippy Day. Fam Meyer, who dressed as a Hower child for Hippy Day, said, Hit was a lot of fun, but I had to keep telling people that ll don't normally dress like this! The ever-popular Orange and Blue Friday finished off the week. That afternoon all grades crowded into Beardsley gym to get psyched for the exe citing weekend ahead. The pep rally also used the Hijack to the Future theme. Free Time? To Each His Dwn ..... When most students be- come juniors and seniors, they are given the privilege of hav- ing a free period. Forty-five minutes to do what you want. Unfortunately, there are rules to go with this freedom. Five minutes after the bell, stu- dents are not allowed into study centers without a pass.
