Wrestling Hold t Wearing new uniforms to grapple with foes, the varsity wrestling team won every match held in Beardsley Gym. Captain Sam Ward U03 lbs.J, who placed third in the state meet, Lou Richter U03 lbsj, and Mike Bedinger Q95 lbs.j led the matmen in piling up wins for Evanston at the meets. Perhaps increased spec- tator interest accelerated the varsity Kits to take third place in the Waukegan Tourney and the District and Sectional Meets. Impressive performances by the sophomore Qwho took second place in R Suburban League standingj, freshman, and iunior varsity teams held spectators' enthusiasm, and predictions of excellence and success in next year's season were heavy. i LEFT: Varsity Captain S.
