rom:wonn-- lt's over now-four years of hard-earned education. During this time the many activi- ties which are provided at Evanston played an important role. We have attempted here to portray these activities, 'using as a back- ground our home room system-so vital a part of our high school careers. However this should not seem to separate the Senior Class into conflicting groupsl For these divisions only serve a purpose, and in after years we 'shall look back upon our high school days--the best of our lives-with the thought that We helped to build not a home room but a class-the Class of 1939.

DEDICHTION Throughout our years in Evanston Township High School, one man has particularly en- deared himself to us for his spirit of loyalty, sympathy, and good humor. As we leave We Wish to honor in some way this man, both for his seniority of service as upper-class home room director, and for his unceasing inspiration to us, his fortunate associates. So it is to this friend of all, Mr. George A. Whipple, that the Class of 1939 affectionately dedicates its Senior Yearbook.
