, SIENIDIZS 2 I 'if I Our history, taken as a whole, has been a long and checkered one, and through thick and thin we have worked together until now we stand apparelled in all the dignity and stateliness of seniors It is a hard matter to relate the history of this class, hard to pick out the most important events all have been so important to us After six eventful years of grade school we composed the first seventh grade class of Evanston Junior High School and through the rest of our school years event after event marked us an outstanding class We won the citizen ship cup in our eighth, ninth and Junior years and have high hopes of win ning it again this year Entering high school as sophomores we originated the traditional Sopho more Stomp, and faithfully carried out all other long standing traditions f H As Juniors we presented the best assembly of the year, and brought t the gym a replica of 'Blue Hawaii' in our Junior Promenade which was one f the most beautiful in the history of our school class has been outstanding in all school activities, in basketball, have all been members of our class during their three high school years I members of the cast of the all school play 'Crashing Society' held on Feb ruary 21 1942 were seniors The senior assembly a play entitled 'One Happy Family' was presented February 24 Our first senior party an Autumn Dance, was in October, and during the last of April the annual Senior Hop was held Baccalaureate services were held Sunday May 1? and May 20 was Class Night May 22, Dr L R Kilzer of Laramie gave the commencement address Now we are leaving high school at a time of great peril to our country, and it is our hope that we will be able to fill our places in defending our great nation as well as we have carried on the work of our school - o E. .
