ADMINISIIZAIIDN President Secretary Earl Sparks Ellen Hudson Vice President Reporter Glen Spencer Helen Guild The student council of lvanston High School was active from the first week of school Many problems faced the group from the beginning of the year, but most or ahese were solved as they came up Ls in other years the council was composed of the student body officers, standing committee chairmen home room presidents and a sponsor The committee chairmen made weekly reports and helped in many ways through their suggestions Only the home room presidents and student body officers were allowed to vote Each week the home room presidents brought to council their home room reports which were collected by the secretary and given to Mr Evans sponsor This year the council sponsored an assembly a trip to the Student Leader ship Conference at Star Valley High School a dance a Defense Bond Drive, created a school creed and did many other worthwhile things The student body and faculty cooperated with the council to make a suc cessful year of student participation in government Much credit goes to Hr Evans for the help and fine suggestions he offered. r V 1 A . 1' 'K .2 9 ' I 0 0 g e , Q 0 , , U
